CAMP DETAILS
In the morning, learn to crochet a handy water bottle carrier! How cute is this banana peel cozie??
In this introduction to crochet camp, you will learn the chain, single, and double crochet stitches, the foundation of all crochet projects.
We’ll learn how to crochet a 3D shape using increases and decreases, a skill you can use to make amigurumi in the future.
Make a matching strap in the size of your choice, so you can wear it around your wrist, attach it to your backpack, or sling it over your shoulder.
After making this pouch you’ll know all the fundamental basics of crochet. Some campers may have time to make multiples, or extra projects like a friendship bracelet!
In the afternoon, practice the running stitch, whip stitch, and blanket stitch as you hand sew these cute foods for yourself and to share with friends.
This year, make four brand new treats: the avocado, mushroom, cookies n’ cream frappuccino, and mini scones (complete with Starbucks-themed bakery bag)!
Use them as small pillows and pincushions, or just because they're adorable! If you have time, make even more foods of your choice.
This is going to be so much fun!
