Ages 8 & up

Experience level: Beginner.

Materials provided. Please bring a lunch as well as snacks for both break times.

Enjoy one drop off and pickup when you stay all day! Enjoy lunch hour with your new friends in our big green studio. Students are supervised and have access to our fashion library, drawing supplies, and mini mannequins during lunch.

CAMP DETAILS

In the morning, practice the running stitch, whip stitch, and blanket stitch as you make these cute animal friends for yourself and to share with friends.

We saw how much you all loved sewing our animal friends over the past couple of years—so this summer, we’re happy to introduce new critters to the family! In this class, you’ll make a squirrel, monkey, cow, and capybara.

Use them as small pillows and pincushions, or just because they're adorable! If we have time, make even more animals of your choice.

In the afternoon, learn how to draw your own original anime characters in fashion outfits!

We won't just use templates, but learn to draw the whole body in correct proportion. With help from our professional artist instructors and a library of helpful books, draw great Anime faces, hairstyles, eyes, hands, and shoes in lots of different positions.

You will learn to draw all sorts of animal-girls complete with fuzzy ears, paws, and tail, wearing a cute outfit designed by you. You will also create your own original character!

Think anime drawings are cute? Wait until you try the chibi style! We’ll learn how to draw the signature chibi style with big heads and teeny bodies for optimal cuteness.

Learn how to draw shiny boots, swirly skirts, big anime eyes, and of course fabulous hairstyles colored with markers and glitter gel pens for things that sparkle!

This is going to be so much fun!
