Ages 8 & up

Prerequisite: Intro to Machine Sewing or equivalent experience

This class is a prerequisite for all future classes and camps using stretchy fabric.

All materials included. Please bring a snack for this 3.5 hour class.

CLASS DETAILS

Come STREEEEEEEEEEETCH your sewing know-how at Camp Fashionista. From soft t-shirts to flowy maxi skirts to your favorite sweats, stretchy knit fabrics are everywhere.

Sewing with knits is a whole separate skill set and Camp Fashionista can help you level up.

We’ll teach you how to set up your machine with the right kind of needle, the special tools and stitches knits require, and specialized cutting and sewing techniques that make knit projects so fabulous.

We’re updating the projects you make in this class—now, everyone will make a cute twist headband and a simple dolman T-shirt!

After completing this class series, you will be ready to make all of the great stretchy projects we have, like skirts, hoodies, and dresses.
