Prerequisite: None

Registrations close 24 hours before the start of class. No walk-ins without prior communication.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

For all you adults who have said you want to learn to do simple sewing, these classes are for you! Take an evening for yourself, grab a Starbucks from a couple doors down, and we’ll provide all the other materials you need in this 3-session series.

We will learn the basics of using the sewing machine, plus some additional life skills. We will learn how to hem and make a casing as we sew a drawstring bag. Then, learn how to install a zipper and sew darts for a cute zipper pouch.

Have a sewing machine collecting dust in the closet? Bring it in and we’ll get you up to speed so you can finally put it to use at home. The hardest part is starting—let’s do it!
