MACHINE SEWING 1W- BASIC SEWING WITH WOVEN FABRICS

This is Class #3 in a series of 4

This is where it all begins! If you've never used a sewing machine before, or it's been a very long time then this is the place to start.

You will learn to thread the machine, wind the bobbin and working with woven fabrics you'll create 3 projects that give you the skills to participate in higher level classes.

What You'll Learn:

  • 3. Threading/ unthreading the machine
  • 4. Winding a bobbin
  • 5. Sewing straight seams
  • 6. Pinning fabric for sewing
  • 7. Machine hemming
  • 8. Sewing around corners
  • 9. Mitered corners
  • 10. Making a casing
  • 11. Sewing vocabulary and concepts
  • 12. Inserting a drawstring

What  You'll Make:

A baby blanket, a pillowcase and a drawstring bag.

EVERYTHING FOR ALL 3 PROJECTS PROVIDED IN MATERIALS FEE.
