Come Enjoy The Camp Fashionista Summer Experience!
Summer camp at Camp Fashionista is an experience your child will never forget! To ensure that you have all the information you need we have provided important details below.
Early Bird Summer Camp Registration
For the first year ever, Camp Fashionista is offering early bird registration for full day Summer camp. Early bird registration not only saves you $50 per full day camp session, but also includes an original "Summer of Love" color it yourself camp t-shirt.
We know that Summer scheduling is an art so this early bird registration guarantees your camper's full day spots and lets you easily make the rest of your Summer plans.
Early bird registration closes March 10, 2017.
Standard Summer Camp Registration
Standard Summer camp registration opens on March 11, 2017 and will include all 1/2 day camp options. You can still schedule your camper for a full day at Camp Fashionista by signing up for two 1/2 day camp sessions the same week.
Camp Fashionista is excited to offer before and after care for Summer 2017. To secure your camper's spot, add your selection to the shopping cart along with your camp purchase. The extended care dates and pricing can be found here.
General Camp Information
Please note the following before signing up for camp:
- Most sewing camps require prior completion of Level 1K and Level 1W sewing, or it's equivalent, except for the First Steps in Fashion series and classes that only use hand sewing.
- Sewing camps are for ages 8 and up. There are times where we can accommodate a 7 year old, so if you believe your child is ready, please call me and ask me to assess your child.
- Hand sewing is for students ages 5 and up.
How To Prepare for camp
We like to make coming to camp as easy as possible therefore there is very little you need to do to prepare.
This year we are excited to include ALL fabrics and notions required for each project in the materials fee, so there is no need to wander around the fabric store wondering if you bought the right kind of fabric, trim & thread! My fabric prices are competitive and save you tons of time at the fabric store!
What to bring to camp
For our Summer camps or classes longer than 3 hours, please remember to pack a snack, and lunch (for full day campers).
For those who prefer to purchase lunch, please send some money and permission for Starbucks or Bagel Guys. Don't worry, they're supervised at all times!
On Friday Camp Finishes with a fashion show
We like to finish each week's camp off with something special.
So prepare your little fashionista for a fun-filled fashion show on Friday where students will strut their stuff down the catwalk while friends and family appreciate their beautiful creations and personal style.
In First Steps in Fashion we don't make clothes so there's no show.
